Student Credit Cards
Getting your first credit card is an important decision for any student; especially
if you are short on cash, it means that every little bit of interest will matter.
Generally student credit cards offer lower limits, and often they also offer lower
fees than many other cards such as very low annual fees. Student credit cards allow
for between $300 and $2000 limits, and usually only require you to have a casual job
for at least a few hours each week (although this varies from bank to bank).
The best credit card for a student will of course depend on the circumstances, however, it is usually best to stay away from rewards programs (as they attract high annual fees) and rather, focus on how much money the student credit card will cost you - this is usually a good indication of what to choose.
